Qualifications, experience
I am a native English speaker, a CELTA Level 5 certified tutor for teaching English to speakers of other languages. I have a further (Oxford TEFL) certification for teaching Business English. Earlier in life I graduated from University with a BA (joint-honours) degree in English & Philosophy.

Between graduation and obtaining my teaching certificates I worked in businesses in senior management roles for more than 25 years. I am professionally qualified as a chartered accountant and have held positions including Director of Treasury & Capital Markets, Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer. I have held responsibility for creating, motivating, managing and developing both large and small teams in the UK, and overseas.
